I grew up in Wheaton Illinois, just outside of Chicago. I come from a big family, as I am one of seven kids. My parents taught us the importance of faith, integrity, a good work ethic, and to always think about helping others.

One of my first jobs was working with my sister delivering newspapers when I was in the 5th grade. Every morning at 5:15 am, seven days a week, we folded, stuffed, and delivered papers on our bicycles. That paper route turned into four paper routes. We had so many papers to deliver that our Dad had to drive us around in his car because our satchels weren’t big enough to carry all of the papers on our bikes. I worked the paper routes until my family moved my sophomore year of high school. We moved two more times after that, granting me the unique privilege of attending three high schools in four years. I played three sports, and loved them all: football, basketball and baseball.

It’s no secret that I am a man of faith. I believe that God instilled in me a desire to help people in the financial arena. The first book I ever bought (with my own money of course) was, “How to Buy Stocks.” Having made money, saved money and even loaned money at an early age, I knew when I went to college that my major would be geared toward managing money.

In 1991, I graduated from Bowling Green State University with a degree in Finance. I immediately started my career with Northwestern Mutual. In 1992, I became an advisor with Vantage Financial Group where the focus was on comprehensive financial planning. In 1994, I moved to Atlanta and joined Peachtree Planning Corporation where I am privileged to hold a Vice President position today. During this time, I also became Senior Partner of Wealth Creation Atlanta, an affiliation of Peachtree Planning.

My Client base is currently spread out amongst the majority of the states. I’ve been recognized as one of the top advisors in the city of Atlanta by “Atlanta Magazine.” I have also won numerous awards within Peachtree Planning and various other financial institutions.

I met my wife Lori in 1996. We married in 1997 in her hometown of Old Towne Alexandria, VA.

By 2003 we felt led to go to Russia and adopt. We have two children, Nicholas and Anika, both from the Vladivostok region. We currently live in Milton and are members of Roswell Community Church where I serve as a Deacon. My family is a priority and I enjoy spending as much time with them as possible. In my spare time, I enjoy playing golf.

My passion: As long as I am able to earn the trust of my clients, I will continue to help educate others by creating financial harmony and simplicity.

Since 2009, Brian has built an advisory business which provides thorough and comprehensive financial guidance to clients across the country. He works primarily with business owners, as well as corporate executives and professionals. He also works with educators on ways to maximize their future pension payments.

For the business owner, Brian and WealthCreation Atlanta (WCA) design and implement executive compensation strategies intended to reward and retain top company talent. Additionally, they provide top-notch solutions and service in 401k-plan management and group life, disability and health insurance. Expertise in these areas allows business owners to focus on growing their company profitability. Finally, as business owners prepare to sell or leave their business, Brian and WCA help them maximize the after-tax profitability of that exit.

With executives and professionals, Brian helps simplify and add structure to the retirement savings and investing path. Many people are unsure if they are saving enough, and if that savings is being allocated to the right buckets. Through his educational advisory process, Brian empowers people with financial knowledge and confidence. With this confidence, families can more effectively maintain a financial path that works for their goals.

With teachers, Brian uses their personalized pension data to help them better understand their future pension options. Once those options are clearly understood, Brian helps implement strategies that might allow for increased pension payouts in the future.

For all three of these categories, Brian helps clients transition from “working for money,” to having their money work and generate income for them. For many people, this income-generation time is “retirement.” For others, it may be the time after sale of a business—even earlier in life—when income is needed to pursue other passions and interests.

For six straight years (2013-2018), Brian was recognized by NAIFA as one of Atlanta’s top financial advisors under 40 years old. And while metro Atlanta is his current home, he carries securities and insurance licenses in multiple states.

Brian began his college career at the U.S. Naval Academy, and graduated from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. After college, he spent five years playing professional football in the NFL, CFL and NFL Europe. He lives in Chamblee, Georgia, with his beautiful wife, Jillian.
